Ordering for a wedding date
At checkout, enter the date you need the gift by. We plan every commission around our studio capacity, so you will see straight away whether your date works and when your painting will be ready. If the wedding is too close, we will tell you the earliest date we can manage rather than over-promise.
Planning a bridal shower? A wedding dress keepsake painting is a lovely gift to unwrap, and a shower paint party gives the guests something to make together.
Wedding gift questions
When should I order a wedding painting gift?
At least four weeks before the wedding for portraits, and six weeks for guest portrait place cards for more than 60 guests. Enter the wedding date at checkout and we will tell you immediately if we can make it.
Can you paint the couple if the wedding has not happened yet?
Yes. Many couples give us an engagement photo or a dress fitting photo. You can also order a painting from the wedding photos after the day; simply choose a later date at checkout.
How do guest portrait place cards work?
You send one clear photo of each guest. We paint a small watercolour portrait for each, which becomes their place card on the table and a favour to take home.
Do you travel for live wedding painting?
Yes. Live wedding painting is available across South Africa. Travel is quoted per venue and added to the balance after you reserve your date.
Can I give a painting as a gift without the couple knowing?
Of course. Use your own details at checkout and tell us in the notes that it is a surprise. We will only contact you.
